The SCIM company was set up in 1987 and began manufacturing extruded plastic profiles started. The production was then labelholders for priceinformation and stockmarking and also profiles for the manufacturing industry.
SCIM owns machinery and tools for the manufacturing of plastic profiles. At present the company has 2 extruders.
The number of employees is at present 6 persons. The anual turnover in during 2008, was 11 800 000 SEK.
SCIM markets its products through intermediaries such at agents and other manufacturer. About 25% are exported to Europe, i e England, Holland, France, Italy and Scandinavia.
Most of the products are manufactuered by SCIM. Over the last couple of years the range of products has been enlarged and now includes logistic products such as floormarking, signs and labels.
SCIM is a privatly owned company.
The factory is situated near the sea in Docksta which is located 500 km north of Stockholm, and 38 km south of Örnsköldsvik.
SCIM has an environmental management system and quality management system certified by Miljökompassen AB.
